  CAADA Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (CAT) Training
  Aims of the training
 
To provide high quality training to independent domestic violence advisors (IDVAs) working with survivors of domestic violence.
To equip IDVAs with information and skills appropriate to their work with survivors, and with an understanding of the role of IDVAs within partnership and inter-agency work on domestic violence.
To promote a consistent, nationally recognised standard of knowledge and practice for IDVAs working in different settings.
To make survivors of domestic violence and their children safer.
